同义平行、综合平行和反义平行，这三种平行可能同时出现在一段经文中。希伯来诗歌的特点是思想上的相关性，培养对这方面的敏感度对于研经者会有益处。实际上，这种写作的方式也延伸到散文体中。认真的研经者应该培养对希伯来思维方式的敏感度，也因此会发现理解神的话语的一个有益资源。
