这本《提多书》注释书选自备受赞誉的《释经者圣经注释》（Expositor's Bible Commentary）。其中文繁体版译本由香港种籽出版社（Seed Press）出版，名为《种籽圣经注释——提摩太前后书、提多书》。经研经工具团队修订后，这套提多书注释制作成了简体中文版，并已在研经工具上线。

《释经者圣经注释》已被众人推崇为最主要和最实用的福音派注释书之一。它是为牧师和研习圣经之人写的，兼具学术性和综合性，却没有太多的理论。在存在明显分歧意见的问题上，作者们除了给出自己的观点以外，还公平地讨论相反观点，而且不带任何的敌意。为了让不熟悉圣经语言的读者能读懂这些材料，书中的希腊文和希伯来文均采用音译的形式。技术问题和文本问题则放在每一部分末尾的注解中作简要讨论。

作者介绍

D. 埃德蒙·希伯特（D. Edmond Hiebert，1910-1995年）是一位著名的作家、教师和圣经注释学者。他在约翰弗莱彻学院（John Fletcher College）获得历史学的副学士学位，并在南方浸信会神学院（Southern Baptist Seminary）获得神学硕士和博士学位。他在神学院接受培训之前和期间一直担任牧师。从神学院毕业后，他在堪萨斯州希尔斯伯勒的塔博尔学院（Tabor College）担任新约教授。1955年，他成为门诺弟兄圣经神学院（the Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary）的希腊文教授和新约教授，该学院位于加州的弗雷斯诺。他创作了17本书，其中大部分都是关于新约书卷及议题的。那些专以明白和传讲神的道为念的人认为，他的新约注释系列是同类中的佼佼者。
