D. 埃德蒙·希伯特（D. Edmond Hiebert）（1910-1995年）是一位著名的作家、教师和圣经注释学者。他在约翰弗莱彻学院（John Fletcher College）获得历史学的副学士学位，并在南方浸信会神学院（Southern Baptist Seminary）获得神学硕士和博士学位。他在神学院接受培训之前和期间一直担任牧师。从神学院毕业后，他在堪萨斯州希尔斯伯勒的塔博尔学院（Tabor College）担任新约教授。1955年，他成为门诺弟兄圣经神学院（the Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary）的希腊文教授和新约教授，该学院位于加州的弗雷斯诺。他创作了17本书，其中大部分都是关于新约书卷及议题的。那些专以明白和传讲神的道为念的人认为，他的新约注释系列是同类中的佼佼者。
